Hello,
I am struggling to understand the fact on the title. I work in IT and my job is demanding as developer. (not difficult tbh) However I see many job roles which don't deliver anything tangible. For example, in IT, there are jobs like IT business analyst or IT Change Manager. They only do attend meetings and send emails after those meetings without delivering / creating anything tangible. IT business analysts are basically get paid to take notes and send emails. (most of time they are not technical to understand what has been discussed) IT Change Managers are the gatekeepers of CAB process without having technical knowledge to assess the change in question (Change Advisory Board) and so on. I am sure there are lots of similar jobs in other sectors as well.
What is the reason for having so many jobs which don't deliver / solve anything? Is It because capitalism? Is It because consumerism? Do governments want to create these type of jobs to reduce unemployment?
