I got approved for a title change. My boss acknowledged I’ve been a great employee. But in the meeting I was basically told even though I(me) does most of the work in our department. They can’t do anything for me. I didn’t ask for a raise, just a role change and for some of my load to be taken off.
Well I asked for a title change cause my responsibilities outweigh my title and my boss agreed, plus I want it for my resume.
I was asked if I could wait a few months and idk why. I know someone else here who got a title change and it took them a week.
Is it cause they are afraid il apply to other jobs with my new title?
