I mean in my 6 years working here I've never even met the guy and he most likely earns like 10x what I make and yet we're being asked to drop some money towards a gift. I bet ya he's even getting some kind of super bonus at the end of this year as well. Thank fuck I WFH and don't have to feel the peer pressure in dropping money in a bucket in front of all my colleagues. So no, I will not be “chipping in”.
