I work in the IT industry. I have >10 years of experience, glowing reviews and recommendations from every company I've worked for. The position I applied to was a relatively entry-level role supervising a help desk. I have experience in this.
I had to take this personality evaluation test that took about 15 minutes after I applied. It has been a few days I have heard nothing back.
Why do companies do these? They're just keeping good employees like me out of a job who could be a huge asset to their team, all because I don't fit some stupid personality thing. Those personality things don't say what kind of a person you are or what kind of a worker you are.
They keep saying nobody wants to work. Why not call it nobody wants to hire?
