It hurts to hear how my job doesn't “discriminate” over disabled coworkers. Yet they do anyways. This is something I'm experiencing in my current job and I hate it how it is.
They had to let go a one coworker who was jus hired for half a month ago and then jus let go cuz they're difficult to work with nor even be patient to cooperate with.
Next off, when it was super busy the day before thx giving this week.
Only 1 coworker who she has joint pain and is disabled too. They're tasked to take care of said lobby to guests. The day was overwhelming and swamped, I can sympathize with them on how it can be.
Once their shift is over, (they only work for short shifts) later in the afternoon the other coworkers talk shit about them that they weren't that fast, “this wasn't done” “this still needs to be cleaned up” etc etc.
I'm jus disgusted with how they boast about disabled coworkers and I have an invisible disability myself. One day when I mentioned my disability to the store owner, this made me rage. “I don't see you have a disability, you don't look disabled”
Excuse me was that supposed to be a compliment????
Once I save enough money, I'm heading to a different job where it is acceptable and patient of diverse individuals.
