In high school I had no clue what to do. I liked drawing but tbh I was shit at it and realistically had no chance of getting into an art school as I had no portfolio. I spent a lot of high school doing music/theatre stuff but don't have a passion for it outside of it being a hobby. I eventually settled for becoming a teacher but only got an Associate's from a now defunct tech school for early childhood education. At the time I was happy, but child care/prek teaching in general never pays more than slightly over minimum wage (in my experience) despite the amount of work involved (ongoing professional training, observational work, parent-teacher conferences, mental load, etc.) I'm in my 30s and have no idea what to do anymore. I'd love to do social media for a living and just have a passive income but circumstances limit the amount of space I have right now. Since then I've gotten better at art and fr am thinking I need to start summoning a certain Fandom for commission work.
Just feeling a little stuck
