My supervisor has been gone for two weeks at a time three times already since I started 8 months ago.
Me however, earn just a day of leave a month since I'm new. Sick leave is separate but still. I want to save it for when I'm actually sick or need a checkup ya know? Eventually I'll start earning 12 hours a month!…
I do have the option of being in “leave debt” but who wants to do that?
I've been having to work extra hours to have “credit time” and it can be maxed only 24 hours at a time. Three whole freaking days.
I miss the military, where everyone regardless of rank gets 20 hours a month, although the policies are different for leave and travel.
It just sucks being new, with a spouse who also works full time, with young children.
