Had a discussion about rich people – and all the people that were making 200k a year+ were screaming like “Bro Im not rich – Im like living paycheck to paycheck – im barely Middle Class!”.
Another one was claiming to make 300 to 400k a year and maintained that he was “Upper Middle Class” but in no way wealthy. This is so far from reality that its mindboggling.
I would say you are poor if you earn less than 30k a year. Lower Middle Class is around 30 000 to around 60 000 – regular middle class is around 60 000 to around 100 000 – upper Middel class is around 100 000 to 150 000/200 000.
But cmn if you earn 200k a year – thats 6 Million in 30 years. That like 5x the amount someone making 40k a year will earn over 30 years. And if you have 5x as much as lower Middle Class you are allready in low rich. Never mind the people making 300 000 or 400 000k a year and claiming that they are Middle/Upper Middle Class.
