Like I'm with you 100% when people say $12/hr isn't enough or even $16/hr in a lot of high-priced metropolitan areas, but today I watched a 24-year-old pink-haired tatted up youngster walk out of work today (I work for a dental laboratory) and just an hour beforehand they were complaining that $20/hr is “abusive bullshit”.
Keep in mind that the minimum wage in my state is about $9/hr, and they were making $20, to do the most basic job in the company which is data entry.
Apparently $20/hr to type information into a computer all day is “abusive bullshit”. We also get a ton of other great perks that I'm not gonna type out here. But the company is truly great.
How do you all defend this type of delusional and arrogant thinking? Is it because you grew up idolizing celebrities and so you think you should live that way too? I'm starting to think the 40+ crowd is correct when they say that young people are just lazy nihilists who don't wanna do anything but rot on their devices all day.
