I am asking this out of sheer curiousity and due to lack of life experience because I'm young, please dont be aggressive.
Recently, I saw this sub being memed so I found out it existed and decided to give it a look. And holy smokes! If I have to form my opinion for USA from here (I am from Europe), it would be terrible. However, I highly doubt this is the case.
My question is the title. Also, if indeed so many people are having it bad, why is that? I feel like if someone has a miserable life or even if he is somewhat unsatisfied, it is largely because of his own choices. Of course, some people have been dealth a bad hand by being born in poor families or have suffered a tragedy or smth that forced them into barely surviving, but how many people are like that?
People complain all the time, I understand, but was it really the case you were forced into the low paying job you are stuck with now? Or you just made a series of bad decisions that ultimately forced you to live the life you are now having?
Please, explain to me. Is it factors from the people or from the system? Thanks!
