That everything requires money. And to get money, you need to work long, long hours in abusive places to get these things you want and need.
And if you fall behind, you don't get to have a bed to sleep, roof over your head, comfort, etc
On top of that, society will snarl their nose at you for falling behind for necessary reasons like health, or even unforseen and unavoidable reasons.
And getting help when you need help is like going through a corn maze. You're confused and tired and don't know if you'll ever get out and hoping it'd be soon but it doesn't feel like it. While watching on the big screen up top, neighboring countries not requiring their needy to go through mazes for help at all. And this causes you even more despair
At this point 1 of 3 things will happen:
- You get back on your feet and succeed but never forget this time in your life
- You never get out of the maze and die trying
- You give up and accept the maze
