New system, boss frequently tells other people I know it better than they do , yet today said why is it taking me so long to do the work on it after I told them (by text, they had left) I had to stay later. My boss works very hard so it’s not that, but there is a late shift for a reason but no-one else knows how to do this.
I’m the most efficient in the team, recently promoted and yet I got this.
Been having to stay 1-2 hours later daily to get it done, as the person on that shift doesn’t know how to do it yet. last week, I told them from first thing I had to leave on time, so I did. As my boss was the only one who could do it, they had to stay later. When I left on time they seemed pissed at me.
Oh right, and I’m currently working six days a week. Scheduled 5 but doing the sixth to help out and I need extra money right now.
So, this system should take (based on timing myself) 5 hours to do everything, but then I have my normal work too, which can be changed last minute and I have to update the system too. Plus there is lunch break.
I enjoy my job, but this comment slightly pissed me off.
