Why isn’t misrepresentation of jobs a crime?

I’ve seen countless jobs posted that under no circumstance actually match what’s said. Hundreds of jobs that say “Remote” only for it to be “On-site and the posting is wrong” Or, they just flat out lie. I saw a job posting for Raising Cane’s, they said they paid $20 an hour with full benefits, I can do that even though I have an IT background, interviewer says it’s $15 and no benefits… but every posting they have says $20 and full bennies? Why is this legal, in any way? It’s false advertisement.
