Wild how quickly after promotion people start simping for Capital

I was at a meeting that was open to all employees to discuss possible improvements to the company benefits plan this week and it was very eye-opening. Right off the bat, an employee raised the point that we can't even talk about benefits without first addressing how low salaries are. Many echoed that sentiment and then this lady who was promoted literally last year started talking about how ungrateful the workers here are and how “everyone is so influenced by TikTok these days.” Two years ago, at a very similar meeting, she was the leading voice for change, but now that she got her promotion and pay raise she is not only in lockstep with the C-Suite and Board, but has become a mouthpiece for the rich. It is crazy how 20 years in the trenches is completely erased by a few months in upper management. I always knew stuff…
