My terrible company restructured and I’m free. I gave a year and it was agony. The place was a nightmare. I am strangely excited and terrified for the future. I’m celebrating a layoff and I should be worried. I don’t have a hope getting the same pay again. There are no jobs. Yet I am still happy to be free. I don’t have to put up with it anymore. I couldn’t afford to leave but now I might get something even a tiny bit better. I’m ok with a pay cut. It is such a weird feeling to be free. I plan to live very small and enjoy this stressful time until I get something else. I hope my relief is found by those of your suffering daily.
