So at my job I am a maintenance manager. I handle everything from a clogged toilet to life safety measures.
My boss, crystal, just recently brought in a “life safety” expert.
She spent 9 freaking hours meeting with him and did not invite me to anything. I was denied an opportunity to learn more about one of my main responsibilities.
How should I process this? She knows I won't care if that's no longer a part of my responsibilities but without clarity I feel like total shit. She hasn't responded to emails or texts.
How does someone spend 9 hours with a contractor and should I be worried about my job?
