Boss flat out told me to schedule my highest performers during the busiest hours (which happen to be the later shifts no one wants). I stated my concern that there was no motivation for my high performers if they only get rewarded with more work while low performers get the slower and more desirable shifts. I was told to find a way to explain it to them so that they do not see it that way. Come on My highest performer practically begged me for a particular shift that I am being forced to give to a new hire instead. I hate this.
