Around 8 months ago we had a new management team take over our office and it’s been hell since.
I work at a company that helps people find work. However this one person has recently started and she is absolutely horrible. She treats the people on our scheme awfully and bullies them into roles they’re not ready for. She brown noses the bosses and acts in a snide manner to everyone else because they’re not important. She gets away with it because her best mate is two levels above her and everyone is afraid of the repercussions if they speak out.
The office has moved from being a vibrant and nice place to work, breaking records and a manager who treated us like adults,l supported and truly cared, to a horrible cliquey place where it’s always quiet. We had a 5% attrition rate in the year prior and have lost approximately 5 (nearly a third) of our staff since and i know of three others actively seeking work including myself. Performance has tanked, morale is in the gutter and it’s getting worse.
The worst part is that no one above that are asking questions as to why things have degraded so quickly. They’ll keep trucking on without seeing what’s actually happening.
I love my job. I genuinely love helping people and the team was great. Now it’s awful. I hate the place. I need to get out.
