So I got to work and was told to take this test. It's supposed to be for supervisors and managers can communicate with us better. I was reluctant to take the test. It seems to me they could take these answers and twist things and use it against someone.
The questions varied to basic personality questions to philosophical discussion questions. The answers ranges from almost never to almost always with a few options in between. One question that stood out was, “do you believe morals are absolute?” Wtf! I could spend a half hour into the intricacies to that question. There were many other questions that were very philosophical. I don't understand what they can get from these stupid answers to complex questions.
After I completed the test I almost felt violated. I know if I pushed hard enough, I could probably get out from doing it. Is it worth it to create a target on my back? I didn't really think so. I hate what this country has become. It's so draining. Mentally, physically, and emotionally. I'm so tired of trying to get ahead, when it seems very unlikely that I would ever get ahead.
Rant over.
UPDATE: I now see how ridiculous this test is. In my summary it listed me as tracker/facilitator. In the description, it says these are rarely paired with each other. I talked to two co-workers about it, and they told me they were listed as the same. We each have very different personalities. So, 3 out 3 people (the only ones I know of) have this “rare” combination. Why waste our time (and their own)?
