I've been with my company for 2 years, we recently undergone a big internal change. This added more responsibility to my job description with the opportunity to learn more things for more pay. For a long time the only other guy who'd been there for 5 years, and had past training opportunities on the new skill that I'm trying to learn. So they gave him training first since he would learn it faster. Therefore we'd be less swamped to be able to take more time to train me. We are now at that point yet I haven't got training at all.
Heres where it gets fucky
I was told that I would be learning this new skill but all the while my productivity was still being tracked and counted against me. On Friday they moved my away from everybody all by myself. They told me that they are hoping to see improvement in my productivity score. The worst part is, is every job is my area is about 10X worse than where I'm at right now. I honestly feel like garbage knowing that I'm going to have to endure that. Hoping they fire me so I can collect unemployment.
What a fucking joke…
