Been working at this steel factory for about a year now. Ever since I started they’ve always asked us for retention solutions and reasons why people keep quitting. During my time there I was harassed and bullied by multiple people, with nothing being done besides false promises of trying to work on it. One girl in particular bullying me was doing it to EVERY female in the factory, to the point that others have quit. One occurrence they ignored was a grown man telling me (21f) that I was gonna ‘fuck around and find out’ (in front of my team lead and nothing was done!!). For months they ignore peoples problems, lie about the hours we are working, and tell us there’s ‘room for improvement’ when we work our asses off 48+ hours a week. Two times this week a co-worker and I were talked down to like we were children so before our lunch break at 3am we grabbed all our stuff and clocked out for good. Afterwards I sent my boss a long message about exactly why people don’t want to stay there, and we’re calling the company head in the morning.
