Working Solo.

Work in a team of two, other member of my team has gone on holiday so head office have asked me to work from there instead of our remote office for the rest of the week. Instead of my 15 minute commute to my quiet office where I can listen to my audiobook between calls, I have an 90 minute journey sat staring at a bumper each way, to go into a porta-cabin office full of people who like to “banter” and chat, where I’m much less productive. Manager said they were worried I wouldn’t get enough support working solo. I checked the figures and I had done 1:3.5 quotes coming out of both offices this week, even working solo with a 3 hour meeting yesterday. Tried to argue it, failed. Just wanted to vent.
