I thought that having Gen Z manager would be so much better, more flexible and open minded, no micromanagement but no, is almost as bad as having a boomer as your manager, it is so weird.
Unfortunately he is the owner of the company so he can’t get fired or anything but the amount of micromanagement is crazy, he doesn’t listen and randomly sends messages to our customer contradicting what people were saying or asking for things that makes no sense. His first job is CEO, I don’t know if he had parental investment or something but he probably didn’t learn the basics of how to run a company and it is kinda learning as it goes, which is fine, so many people learn from experiences but then be humble enough to acknowledge other people’s opinions and ideas .
The company is making a lot of money, mostly because it is in a on growing market but not sure for how long.
