I was looking into some low income housing with my gf because we’ll be moving soon. I found a place where rent was about $1400/month And I asked what their requirements were to be considered low income. And to be considered low income, the household income could not be over $45,000. That’s absolutely insane to be making that little and having to spend $1400/month to live there and it’s considered low income. I thought low income meant cheaper prices??

There's a two part decision to my potentially quitting today, and I'd like to make sure I'm not overreacting. I needed a cash advance on my paychecks. Hello everyone. I told my boss I would give her a 3 week notice before I started my new job (which I did) but instead I decided to just clock out at 2 weeks, say goodbye to no one and leave and never look back. I'm sending her an email while she's on lunch so she doesn't call me on my way back home, not that i would pick up. She's terribly unprofessional and yells and causes more stress for everyone than there needs to be and has lost three people in the last 7 months that I've been here because of her behavior. I'm ecstatic that I'll never have to listen to her or see her again for the rest of my life but I really thought I would walk away feeling relieved but I don't :/ maybe because this feels cowardly? At any time your employer can just decide that your weekends and free time are no longer yours and you have to comply or you might be losing your job. How is this a thing?

Hi all, I’m expecting to accept an offer for a new job and am on paid medical leave with my current company. If I’m on the paid medical leave, am I required to come off of it to work the 2 weeks until I start my new job? MA if that helps.
