????? That is such a dumb thing in ads! “So where is the bathroom… oh you have to train yourself and find it.” Even a job with the most crazy crazy education requirements and previous know how needs initial training. It is like they are saying that they are doing you a favour to get you to learn to do what they need you to do. So yeah you are being really nice to show me how to set the alarms. I am so grateful! “Look! we give you an amazing training in this thing that you need here, specific to this role and that will give you great advantages to leave us!” (Last may be good but… If there is a difficult and expensive training people may be attracted to, it should be listed specifically no just “Will Train”, every F job needs training) Rant done.

Randomly drug test me due to hear say bout me using pot on break? Tell me I need to conduct myself carefully when all the other co workers talk trash, speak about female co workers and whine about management?? Guess what you're short staffed tomorrow morning.
I submitted my two weeks today and was told to put the statement in writing . In the 10 minutes it took me to write it out I was called – disloyal – inconsiderate – ungrateful – disrespectful – unprofessional And I could go on . The sheer lack of professionalism from these people almost genuinely shocked me . I’ve worked for the company for a year and half, came in on my days off, worked overtime, covered shifts, and worked doubles for these people and they have the audacity to say these things about me . I’ve never been more happy to leave a company in my life .
The stuff revolutions are made of
I learned about the hard edge of capitalism many years ago when I worked for a large multinational corporation. This company would have been a Fortune 500 company except that it was a wholly owned subsidiary of an even larger corporation. Its headquarters was in Manhattan, and most of us peons who worked there commuted to work from all over New York and Long Island. Then one day the company announced that the headquarters would be moved to a town in New Jersey that none of us had ever heard of. We immediately wondered two things: 1) Why is this being done, and 2) How the Hell are we supposed to get to work? We quickly learned the answer to Question #1: two of the top three executives at the company lived in that New Jersey town, and they didn't like the commute into New York, and they were moving…
this might turn out to be a bit confusing but i’ll try my best to explain it. i work as an operator in a carpet factory and my job is to operate a machine that winds cones of yarn onto a beam. well, i was trying to do my job and i didn’t get enough yarn to get the amount of beams that were needed. i talked to my supervisor about it and she said she’ll order more yarn for me. great, all i had to do was wait for it to arrive which doesn’t even take long. i waited for two hours and i went to her AGAIN and as it turns out, she ended up not ordering it. she says she’ll do it this time so i said okay. the yarn didn’t arrive after another two hours again. by this point, i had ten minutes left of my…

They don’t need us
They no longer need us for anything. We might as well be human batteries in the Matrix. The market doesn't need us as it is impervious to whether millions are left unemployed and homeless. The corporations don't need us as they're plotting the end of work anyway and starting to automate and pit workers from various countries to compete for misery wages. The government doesn't need us because they don't actually care about what we need or want. They've been getting elected with a fraction of the population's votes and democracy has been manipulated so hard that it is failing under the weight of corruption. We don't donate enough money and they represent the rich anyways. Even the tech corporations don't need us – they already have us as captive audiences, and have extracted mountains of behavioral and consumer data. We're rats whose every move has been carefully measured to…
