Using a throw away because I don't want this coming back to me. I work for a commercial general contractor in Chicago. They are quite literally a text book example of the sketch general contractor that gives the industry a bad name. This company has treated me like complete shit for two and a half years. They hired me during a time I was really struggling in life (mental health, substance abuse, and coming back from financially losing everything) and continued to remind me how much they did for me while under paying and forcing me to cover my own gas expenses. Don’t let a breath out yet, that raise coming down the pipeline is not in addition to the one you normally get later in the year…keep that in mind when determining how it likely still doesn’t meet your needs in your specific Geo.
