I live in Indiana, USA. I work at a pizza place and everybody is great. Great work environment, all my bosses are actually some of the coolest people I’ve ever met, and I get paid $12/hr. That’s not amazing, I know, I started at $10. I got a raise for being committed to the job. I don’t really have a gripe about working so much (at least 4-5 shifts per week) other than my back hurting from all the hard work, I just wanted to know if it was legal for a person under 18 to work a 10 hour shift without a real scheduled break.

i’m moving to a new state for a job next week and i’m so excited ! i’ve never done a big move and lived at home for a majority of college so i’m really excited to have some independence as well as a really large savings as back up after working a year post grad while living at home. I feel really lucky to have been able to rely on my family to help me especially with the way things are so unaffordable now. but lately as this move is looming over me I feel major amounts of anxiety as well. I think about how when I move to this new state, I will now be responsible for so many things like rent in one of the most expensive cities in the united states.
