I quit my job and my body is happy

1 month ago I resigned after 8 years. Even if I have to stay for 2 more months, I noticed that since I quit my body feels better: no cramps, no headaches. The past months have been so hard that I was feeling mentally overwhelmed because the environment was so toxic. My BPM while working dropped from 80 to 69 simply because I feel relieved. If your job (or boss, company etc.) negatively impacts your health, JUST LEAVE. It's not worth it.

After 2 years and 3 panic attacks I resigned from my job that paid 55k annually, offered pension and great health benefits

I had exceptional work ethic, trained new hires better than management, but couldn’t handle the stress and constant disrespect and condescending communication from my manager, after giving my two week notice, they told me to not bother returning 🤷‍️ their loss. I have no savings or other job opportunities, pray for me y’all. Happy Friday the 13th I guess. Also, fuck the PWGA pension and health fund.

Minimum Wage Job & Asking for Time Off

I work a minimum wage job, my second one. I've been there for around 8 months, and like it okay so far. My family likes to travel during the winter and summer season. I probably should have mentioned it in the interview, but forgot because of Covid, I haven't been able to travel (usually to visit family) in 2 years. For summer, my dad wanted to do something fun and booked a 3-week vacation cruise. He has a habit of not telling me when he books vacation plans like so, so when he told me he booked vacation plans in June, I couldn't do anything about it. I told my boss about the vacation, and (obviously) got a long text back about missing work. I was debating if I should just quit the job altogether, since I'm missing a lot of days/shifts anyway for this vacation, and would have my…

We should all start joking about a communist revolution coming to America this summer.

You know just for fun, obviously not really wanting a communist revolution or anything. I just think that with everything going on it’d be funny to troll the boomers with something and pass some anti-commie law or something. Because being a communist doesn’t apply to free speech and the 1st amendment or anything hahahaha. (This is just a joke and totally not a call to action or any sort of violent overthrow of the American government)

Is changing field a wrong decision?

So yesterday, I had an interview with a company. I cleared the first two rounds and then in the last round, there was this manager who after looking at my resume kept asking me on why I am changing my field, why am I not continuing with the same job. He kept pressing on for answers and he wasn't looking interested at all, he also kept saying that you've done a lot of courses and you're confused with your career choices. I mean there are many people in this world who change their career after a certain point, it's normal, people's interest change, nobody wants to be stuck at the same point, some people want to grow and develop new skills, right? What is wrong in doing that? He indirectly said that you're not sure about your path and we don't see you staying long in our company so I…

It was my second day of a new job and they left me alone to expedite the kitchen. How should I tell my boss I quit?

Basically, I was hired to be a server/hostess, but was told that my training would include learning every role that a waitress should know, which was bussing tables, running food, as well as stocking and cleaning. I was okay with this of course and frankly felt more comfortable starting off slow. I started off food running and despite the difficult table numbering scheme and fancy menu, I did a great job. I didn't mess up a single thing and felt comfortable in the role. In fact, my boss told me I was excelling her expectations by a long shot. The first day had some bad vibes, but was largely okay and I had good expectations for the job. The issue starts when my second day, I walk in and start prep. I wasn't told what to do, they just sorta… expected me to do shit. But I prepped everything I…
