TL;DR: Incremental change is not enough anymore. America is suffocating and withering as we speak, and the more we wait, to “vote next election”, or for a change that “will come, trust me”, the more harm will be done by this evil minority. America needs a new start and a new system. It needs a new Constitution, drafted, planned and executed by its workers, and its workers alone. It's become abundantly clear that the constitution is more than just stagnating the country, it's causing actual harm to the people it's supposed to represent. All major issues America has had in the past 30 years, including the recent SCOTUS rulings, can be traced back to a constitution that enables a minority rule. There are technicalities and qualifications to that, of course, but they don't matter anymore. The fact is, the minority HAS. ALREADY. WON. The courts are packed, red states are…
Do you actually want to work?
Why does my boss embarrass me in public?
She always has to make a scene or question my manhood to her friends or any random person who’ll listen. I can’t stand it. Then when I say something, I’m the problem, I’m the one being a little bitch.
Every week i keep track of my hours and send them through to the boss. He literally said well monday you worked 13 hours but the rest of the week you did your 8hours a day. That averages to 1 hour overtime a day and we’re not going to pay that.
This particular job interview question
How common is this question in a job interview? “what are your salary/wage expectations?” It strikes me as a real scam of a question. If they LIKE you in the interview and your salary expectation is lower than what they normally pay someone in that role what are the chances they actually pay you what the norm? (assuming there even is one). Don't answer. I think I know. If the field of candidates is not as good as what they'd hoped, do they then look at the best candidate with an acceptable pay expectation? Thoughts?
think my recruiter attempted to scam me
I worked through a recruiting company for my current job and was offer 18$ an hour but the recruiter tried to offer me a second deal where I could get 3 pto days and take 17$ an hour he claimed the math was all the same but I told him I didnt think it was and would be taking the higher rate, I was looking at my pay check and noticed i had PTO on it and when i submitted a time card with pto i was paid the PTO so apparently he was lying and I got PTO anyways he just wanted me to make a 1$ less an hour
Very short one. I found an application that I was interested in. So I send an email asking which company it was for. You know, like a normal person I'd like to know what I'm applying for. And then I get the answer saying that that information can be revealed further in the process. I'm sorry, what? Its not like I'm ordering a tapas which I've never tried to see if I like it. This is possibly a big commitment here. I told them that I'm not applying if I can't know what for. Am I being the idiot here? This is ridiculous right?
Are people here really against work?
I don't care about the social politics stuff. I don't want to work at all. I have bad experience with it. I don't want to.
