I see a trend here lately of employers asking candidates to work partial shifts or show their skills. Unpaid this is total garbage and usually illegal and create a nightmare of liability for said company. But what if there was some way to shield company from said liability and get paid while showing off skills? Part one of the post is here. Two other gems they also added a) If you are WFH and you lose power, you have to immediately email your supervisor to let him/her know so he/she can verify the outage on PECO's outage map (or whomever your distributor is for those outside of the greater Philly area). b) If you lose Internet you must send a copy of the outage ticket you file with your ISP to your superior showing the date/time of the outage, along with a copy of the ticket resolution correspondence showing the date/time it was resolved. I said well yes of course and ranted saying no one wants to work anymore blah blah. Not my fault that when someone wants a week or holidays off, she has to cover because like I said she has staff but everyone are part timers…
