I am an engineer – ~20 years of experience. I was bullied by my colleague which caused me serious health issues – about 2 years back. Manager was unhelpful at that time and escalated the situation. He is a scheming, 2-faced “talker” that relies on my colleague. I found another department that needed my skills and it was not an easy move – had to search for ~2 years. As I was settling into the new position I was put on a project that has my previous manager in a contributor role. Again – he just talks and for some reason he survives and manages without getting any work done. He is creating a lot of drama again in the new projects (managed by my dept.).
I've DM'd people who said they needed money and no on responds back. I don't know if I am shadowbanned or what but I just want to give a little bit of extra money away.
Some day It can likely be fully automated. That’s when we should swap to an RBE, but the attitude towards just about everything need to change on a global scale first.
She said I was doing my job but not going above and beyond. She said it seemed like I was checked out of the job. Bitch I was never checked in to begin with
Fired Unexpectedly

They made it very clear that they were looking to hire on, and said if I did well there was a very good chance I’d be hired on. I did my best to meet the standards they set, and tried to cultivate a reputation as someone who was always looking to learn more and to grow more. Yesterday, out of the clear blue sky, with absolutely no warning, my lady from the temp agency texts me, and says that they (the business) ended my assignment. Just like that, it’s over. I’ve never been fired before, and I think I’m still processing it. But I’m angry too, because they’re allowed to fire me at the drop of a hat, but if I quit with…
I partially witnessed the outcome of a forklift incident but want nothing to do with it. No one was injured and no product was ruined. I was asked to make a statement and refused. Especially since I didn’t actually see the incident, only the outcome. My supervisor responded by saying she was sorry but that I’m required to. Is that true? Or am I aloud to stay out of if? It just doesn’t right to force me to right a stay over something I barely witnessed and at the very least should be REQUIRED to do so
