I used to be a hard worker. I climbed the corporate ladder to a decent paying job with a company that I cared about. I stayed late, canceled vacations, worked sick. I was the favored one there. And then I went through a hellish HR investigation in which I ended up being in trouble for something I did not even do. My boss turned on me, my colleagues turned on me and upper management labeled me a problem employee. Lesson learned not to try hard anymore and that when they don’t like you, then you are labeled a problem no matter how hard you tried. I have no choice but to stay for now. I (22f) just ran away from my blue collar job (warehousing) that I’ve been working since I was 18. They came up to us an hour before hometime and told us we had mandatory overtime. That, combined with the authoritarian management asshats giving me shit for not “being at optimal production” in a 25 degree warehouse, sweating my ass off, lifting heavy shit all day; I was just fucking done. I grabbed my shit, grabbed a garbage bag, emptied out my locker, and left without a word. I wonder what they’re thinking right now lol

Hello guys. So I am a junior in this company in Malaysia. There was a huge problem at my work and my company had some losses. I am the person who submitted the file and guess what? I fucked up. But here’s the thing… I have sent to my seniors and bosses for reviews, which they did not respond… (I was promised for a peer review though) And when shit gets fucked, the way the speak to me is that I’m “stupid” and all my work needs to be double checked. Even simple tasks. Doesn’t make sense… I was the one who submitted accordingly and was ignored. Now I’m depressed, back on medications and every time I think about going in the office I cut myself. So I quit lol

Curious if anyone has done this or had experience in the matter of pay increase then payout. I have around 20 weeks of leave & was getting paid $40AUD per hour, demanded a pay rise and got $45AUD per hour. If I quit 1 pay slip later, would I get paid out those 20 weeks @ $45 or $40? Wasn't too sure how long I'd need my pay increase to be on file to be eligible for a larger payout. Trust me this is the least the business owes me after 9 years for all the shit I've done for them and put up with.

Basically the title. I let my boss know I’m feeling really sick and wouldn’t be able to come in to work today. It was kinda short notice, around 1 hour and 45 minutes before my shift, but I only called in later because I was hoping I’d feel better by the time my shift started, but I haven’t. After telling her, though, she told me that since I didn’t call in 2 hours before, I’d be getting an unexcused absence for it. Is that right? If someone’s sick, they can still receive an unexcused absence because hey didn’t call in early enough?

This may seem really dumb but I can't seem to find the contact for my company's HR and I know we have one. Google just pulls up job posistions.
