Dear Uncle Sam
This is a letter to Uncle Sam in response to him telling me “if you want to be free of debt, I want you to serve in the military!” Dear Uncle Sam It’s very very frustrating when I hear someone say that or anything similar. First of all, nobody should feel forced to put their life on the line for the most powerful military in the world in order to survive. Sure, I get there should be benefits for those who do volunteer their life for our country, those people should get the best benefits. But it shouldn’t be a requirement of survival like it is now. Secondly, joining the military in and of itself is not a walk in the park. I have been involved in very active sports including football, track and combat martial arts. Job Postings with Massive Salary Ranges
I’ve been applying for jobs pretty consistently my whole adult like (28) and I have to say that one of the most predatory things out there are these jobs that have a $15,000-$25,000 salary range. They do this so you get interested and submit a resume because surly they’ve captured a number you want, but I warn you that if/when you get invited in for an interview, they will automatically knock you down to the lowest part of the range. If a company is serious about hiring, they give a realistic range.
Is this abuse?

Trying to decipher if it's worth me going for missed back pay. At my old job I was given additional job duties about May 2020. I was told my job description would be updated and my compensation would be reassessed to include these new job duties as well as receive any back pay for the time I was completing these duties. I made sure to track the project notes (got screenshot receipts) of this job description change which began in January 2021. Due to many excuses when I left the job in December 2021 they still had not completed the project and given me any of the back pay for the additional work for over a year. I made sure to ask an HR rep about this during my exit interview and ask if I could still receive the back pay. I was told “I don't see why not”. Well…
slap on the arse – slap on the wrist
So long story short I got told by a member of staff that one of the managers slapped a woman on the arse, but they didnt want to get involved or officially report it. I stated look this is classed as sexual harassment what you've told me and they stated well the girl liked it and laughed. Way I looked at it 1. Its innapropiate whether its in work or outside of work 2. They could've laughed to cover they may have been upset 3. Its sexual harrassment no matter how you look at it! So I told this guys boss as i felt i couldnt just sit and let this guy think he could get away with this kind of behaviour and later that day heard the guy getting a telling off. Was expecting them to get a disciplinary/suspension/investigation….nope nothing. Just a slap on the wrist!!! (I deal with…
