Hi all, I know a bunch of you have made custom images to be printed out with services like vista print and such but I’ve had difficulty locating decent ones, can anyone link posts or links to images here? I’m trying to find ones that promote this sub as well as WorkersFightBack. Or maybe it’s WorkersStrikeBack, I’ll look, and edit this. Some of the tales on this thread reminded me of this one, so here goes: I used to get casual labor from Home Depot, where there was always a bunch of great guys out there looking for honest work. I always paid above fair pay, and fed and gave them protective gear, water, etc. I had three favorites, and had the number of one, so I could call him when needed. My neighbor asked me about them one day, said he needed some work done in his yard, so I called my guy, and the three came over. I work as a sever at a very popular chain and they are constantly making their workers stay and finish working while off the clock. They will try and get us off the clock as quick as possible if labor is even close to being “too high.” They say that that extra $10/h doesn’t mean much cause we make a good amount in tips but that’s not right. This is the same company that got sued for back logging clock out times of their staff and I’m just so angry. They are taking advantage of people like me who are too nice for their own good. They also have the nerve to have a problem with me going on “vacation” to visit my dad who currently lives in another state that costs me 100s to fly too and wont give me a better position. This makes me crazy. Everytime I see one of those “I quit today” text message posts, the poster always try to justify themselves about why they can’t go to work/cover a shift. If you’ve requested a day off and it’s been approved, you are good to do whatever you want on that day. Yesterday someone texted their boss they couldn’t because they had a flight, today because they had to put their dog down. You don’t have to. It’s Illegal in some countries for a boss to contact employees when said employees are off. You don’t have to feel bad/guilty, you requested something that’s been approved, now it’s your boss’ business to find someone on those days. “I’m sorry but I have a day off and I’m taking it”. That’s all you need. It might look better to tell your boss you have si or ça, but don’t waste time…

I know it’s illegal but it still happened and it is annoying but thank GOD I had another job lined up and I start on the 8th 🤝 This just means I’ll help the current employees unionize harder
