“Pay attention” is another.
9-5 is bullshit.
Let BOA burn. Let them all burn.
Considering we just had a rights taken away nobody thought would ever happen. And I think a bunch of Republicans don't even know it IS a constitutional right….we should try to keep it away from them.
So a few of us women reported one of our managers to HR for sexual harassment and being unprofessional. Our GM is buddy buddy with him, so isn’t taking any of this seriously and is also defending him, also was upset that we went straight to HR instead of talking to him (our GM) first. He used terms like ‘cancel culture’ and ‘drama’. I am so beyond fed up at this point. Advice? Quitting would be difficult as I don’t know another job I could have with equal or close pay…
How is Work in a StartUp?
Hi! Sorry for my bad grammar, I have just began taking English Classes like 3 months ago. So… I live in a very small town from the very south of Brazil. Here the main work force is based in factories and farms. There is very little space for tech business. My whole area, like 5-7 cities, has like 3-4 main tech companies. It’s super hard to get in one of them. Recently I quit from my previous job at a office and began taking classes in the Software Development area (idk how to say my major in english lol). Im worried about getting fired or it being a place of…
Long Post Ahead!! I just need some advice or outside opinions/help. I graduated college recently and was so excited to find a job working on a political campaign right away. As a recent college grad with a liberal arts degree, I was pumped to have a job so quickly and I thought it would look great on my resume. Additionally, it was only until the election, which was basically 6months (giving me nice experience but not locking me down. However, from the start I should have realized this job would be a shit show. The job description made it sound like more of a volunteer management and event planner role, an office job. It pays 42,000 a year which at the time I thought was good for my first job. In my two months working here I have learned: We work a bare minimum of 55 hours a week. Tuesday’s…
wage discussion
If your company has you sign a contract that says you can't discuss wages, then you happen to discuss and find out you are making thousands less than your coworkers, would you risk getting fired by asking for more money since you know your coworkers are making more?
Everywhere I see people talking about how “it’s like they pay 30 dollars an hour with the sandwiches!” Failing to see how they’re being hustled for what costs the company pocket change to make All that’s gonna happen if chick fil a isn’t held accountable is more companies following their shitty example when the working class is already exploited into poverty
