Anybody else think it's a bit ironic we have a guy complaining about people not wanting to work and “silent quitting” that's famous for finding the worse jobs in America and quitting after one shift You ain't fooling anybody Mike, I see you. I see you

COVID Sick Leave
I have had to exhaust my paid sick leave throughout this year, but I am unsure of this law if any. (I live in Ohio but not sure if that will change anything). If I were to get COVID right now after exhausting my PTO for sick time for the year, is my employer still required to pay me?
Rant about Company Spending
I'm a recruiter for a consulting firm. I'm not happy in this position and have noticied my employer very stingey. I wasn't provided with quality technology to perform my job, I got the absolute cheapest and crappiest gift basket full expired off OFF brand snacks for Christmas, and despite being a top performer on my team for over a year, I received a $2,000 raise in THIS ECONOMY! I'm living with my parents and brother currently and my father and brother are big golf fans. And what did I see them watching on the TV this weekend? My company SPONSORING AND ENTIRE PROFESSIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT!!! This cost EASILY a few million dollars!!! They even had a company advertisement during the tournament, bragging about being a “people first” orgnaziation. People first my ass!!!!!! Your employees can't afford to keep up with inflation or get decent technology or Christmas gifts! But you…
Terminated yesterday. The proprietary software password has been changed and my name has been removed from the group email. But…. my VPN still works and I can still remote into my desktop…. I'm reasonably able to follow instructions but not a natural (or trained) techie. What petty mischief can I do with this little gap in the armor?
Anyone else given up entirely?
Sorry for formatting, on mobile. I'll try keep this short as possible In May this year a was promoted to team leader in a specialist practice. We've been haemorrhaging staff like there's no tomorrow and they needed someone to be there to help take pressure off the rest of management. I've taken my role very seriously, 20+ hrs overtime a fortnight, working weekends etc all to complete the role I originally had (medical secretary) along with this new role. I always felt I was loyal to the practice, they've let me grow and supported me to move up. Until today. As I said, there's been a mass exodus of staff, thus putting those of us who are left in a harder position and making work/life balance more difficult (especially myself as I've always believed in a good leader leads by example.) One of our doctors (the boss) now wants to…
a CEO’s message to the freshers..
'Rona dhona' is a hindi word for crying… such a wonderful and inspiring words from the company head.
I got fired today and I’m ecstatic
So this is kind of a part two to my last post but I was fired today for clocking in outside of the building rather than inside, I was told that unlocking the doors is an unpaid practice and that it was considered wage theft. This place had the most roaches I’ve ever seen, the boss called me slurs, made people work off the clock, sold alcohol to minors, stole our tips, and threw things at us… The best part is I was actually going to turn my two weeks in today cause I start a new job tomorrow 🙂 and for anyone wondering the name of this toxic ass place is Java Surf Cafe and Espresso Bar in Virginia Beach Virginia! I was too scared to share the name last time cause I still actively worked there… I finally get to breath
