Good morning, i have a situation at work going on and I’m not sure what to do, or if there’s anything i can do. I recently moved to Texas and got hired on at this company about a month ago. The way it works here is everyone is given a work phone to keep track of how much work they produce and proof that the work was done. I work in a rail yard and when the containers come off the trains, they get put on trailers and before the trailers deliver the containers they come to me if anything is wrong with the trailers. Example: during an 8 hour shift, do I finish my task and proceed to help other's work, or do I pace my work to last me my 8 hours.

So I’ve been working at a small family food retail business for 10 months now. Honestly I was really excited to get this job, because my previous retail job at a bakery chain ghosted me for three months (casual employee). This job is honestly really intense, mostly because of the massive number of different tasks to do and products they sell. Some products are sold by weight, some by fixed price, some barcodes scan and some don’t. Some items have price tags and some don’t, and if neither boss is available you basically have to just guess how much it’s worth and pray. The bosses are a married couple with young adult children who, when I started, also worked for them. Now two of them have other jobs during the week and come in to work weekends. I'm so tired. 24 y/o dude on the spectrum sick of how unbelievably difficult and tedious it is to find work. No car, E-bike can only do so much in a city with a metro system worthy of nothing but jokes alongside arterial stroads of suburban hell, not to mention the local environment is very hot and arid. The process of applying for work is just unbelievable. Current job gave me almost 0 hours for over a month (thats a whole other can of worms: TLDR I forgot adhd moment haha to submit availability but pleaded with boss to let me, he wont budge and asks for availability monthly, so fuck m…and boss is aware of my situation, just stubbornly wont help me to prove a point) and I have $3 in my bank account with rent ($1600+) and bills coming up. No credit history so I cant get credit…

I have lost three jobs in the last 14 months. Two in the last 11 months. I’d like to be able to hold a job for more than 6 months, basically, I’d like to make it past probation. First job was due to memory problems and attention to detail (both issues I have fixed). This most recent job, was due to not working independently and proactively enough. I’m not sure how to be proactive and independent. I was wondering if anyone can provide advice on this? And, if anyone else is having issues holding down a job? In my country a large amount of women work parttime. Now my country has a relatively high gender equality. Women are not expected to stay at home but can pursue an education etc etc. However, most women in this country like I said work parttime. I think the main reason for this is that the majority of women do most around the house (take care of the kids, do laundry etc). Now, lately I've seen articles about how this is wrong. (There are also articles pointing out how stupid this is, but im talking about large news channels that say this) And not because women should be equal to men and men should do as much as women when it comes to chores.
