I honestly thought this sub have an goal in mind of approaching to an actual movement but it just seem the groups itself lacks aim and leadership. My political stance was very liberal but I do believe many of the mega-corporations greedy practice do need to be showcased. Hi, I have had two situations on separate jobs where someone at the workplace allegedly told the boss on me. The first occasion it was for a very petty reason related to my educational background and the second time it was much more serious and could have been potentially life-altering. Luckily, I have better work-environments now. However, both times I was pretty confused about what was going on and really didn't have any context at all as to what happened. Therefore, I naturally asked my bosses at the time where are you getting this information or who told you this? They claimed anonymity and refused to give any details on where the accusations came from. It always put me in a weird situation because I know I never did what I was accused of but there was never a way for me to disprove it because all context was kept…

I used to work a bar in Australia, which like most bars, has a tip jar. However, the tips weren’t pooled or anything, but instead went towards our Christmas staff party. The thing is the staff party was in February instead of Christmas time, because it was less busy (i quit in December so i never reaped the benefits of this staff party). In New Zealand, my partner worked at a place that followed the same model. I also worked at a cafe there which pooled the tips once a year. My question is, is any of this legal?? If not, what should/could i do about it? Every time i gave great service and saw someone put a tip in the jar, i cried inside, knowing i would never get it lol
