Many moons ago, I had sent a text to my (at the time) boss asking why he was being a shit to me (politely of course) He said we would discuss it in the morning if I could come in early. Wow I've never felt so upset about an interview process. Two days ago I had to take a polygraph exam so that I could get an IT position working at a jailing facility. The polygraph examiner had to strap my left arm so that he could get a constant heart rate level but the issue is he strapped it way to tight. It was too the point where my left hand was turning purple throughout the testing process and I couldn't focus on anything else besides the constant pain that was being inflicted on me. He kept telling me to stop fidgeting and to take deep breathes but how can I at that point. Anyways long story short he told me that I lied in multiple occasions (Which I didn't) and that I failed the poly. I finally just got in contact with the director of the jailing facility and…

I bought my dream house a few years ago, it’s fairly modest, but just right for me. I want to retire and live in this house until I die. Unfortunately work took me out of state so I can’t currently live in my dream house. I can’t afford to keep the house as I can’t pay 2 mortgages. But I really love this house. How do I keep the house and not be an asshole? Landlord=Asshole

I had an employer call me for an interview that was for a full time gig. During the conversation, the person said it was part time with up to 15 hours…. Mind you, the post on Indeed said full time. Why do people have to be so misleading with this?

I quit my job recently. The boss always preached we were like family. But after I quit, he called ranting and raving, unfriended me on Facebook and it's genuinely butthurt lol. Never believe that tripe.

Yes, this place rehired this person. This person stole the company credit card and used over $1,000 on it. I guess this person got a text one day from the boss saying basically “you want your job back?” And guess what! They hired him back on and he’s making more than my partner. Who’s literally worked Monday-Saturday for basically a YEAR straight. Hitting overtime every week. Has only took 3 planned PTO days and has called out due to sickness maybe 3 times. The boss gave my partner 2 “raises” and it’s still not the same as what his co worker is making. Both have the same credentials and have the same amount of experience. And are doing the same job. My partner also walked into work today, saw everyone was in a good mood because it was gonna be a “easy” day, but noticed when he saw his work…
