I recently celebrated my 15th year with a company that I have been with 15/20 years of my working life (age 16 was my first job).
Was shown appreciation by receiving a small Starbucks frappe from the owner.
I suppose it is true that the hardest, most dedicated employees just get fucked over to the point where they DGAF.
No raise, no bonus, no extra vacation time. A small frappe…..am I being ridiculous??
