I got laid off last Friday. I’ve spent this whole week trying to apply for unemployment. Unfortunately my addresses are wrong. A very simple fix but it tells me I cannot update it myself & to Contact staff.
I’ve called they’re general help line over 100 times. It always always gives me a dead tone & hangs up. I got up early today to call at 8 on the DOT (the second they opened) bc the virtual assistant told me they’re lines were busy. & I still got the deadtone/hang up. They’ve never answered my emails.
Now I’m going to have to drive an hour to a careerlink to do it in person. This very simple change.
