My wife was just laid off after 15 years at the same company. She was a remote district manager. Her boss sold half of his business for millions and now only needs half the employees they had. She has amazing references and experience but not a lot of people are hiring in her field, plus she would like to stay remote if possible. Laid off with 30 day notice and zero severance. Just sucks.
