boss threatening termination for discussing pay rate

My boss just sent me these messages over the Shyft app in a group of about 8 others. none of the other employees in the group have been there longer than a few months. “No need to respond to this but just fair warning as you are each part of the newest team members and since I don't see all of you often this is the easy way to communicate. be aware that IF you are caught discussing your rate of PAY with anyone at the store outside of the mgt team it is grounds for automatic termination. this is not something you should every share at a job. this is just a warning as it was brought to my attention that it's happening in my store.” next message: “please like this message so I know your aware and understand” I got this message a couple of days…

“No need to respond to this but just fair warning as you are each part of the newest team members and since I don't see all of you often this is the easy way to communicate.

be aware that IF you are caught discussing your rate of PAY with anyone at the store outside of the mgt team it is grounds for automatic termination.

this is not something you should every share at a job. this is just a warning as it was brought to my attention that it's happening in my store.”

next message:

“please like this message so I know your aware and understand”

I got this message a couple of days after talking with another person in the groupchat about how much I was being paid and told them they should ask for more since they were making slightly less.

I've started looking into things such as the NLRA but I am unsure if it applies to me since I am non-union. and as far as I know the store I'm at has no union.

are there anythings I should be aware of going into this situation? do I have some kind of case here that I should take to an attorney? any other resources that help would be appreciated.
