My coworker tries to micromanage me even though she is not at all my supervisor nor does she see into my work.

Basically the title. We are a team of 10 in Payroll, all of us have the same team lead. She is great, very respetful, actual expert in the field. I have no problem following her lead and she never micromanages either, she trusts us to do our own work and I never had her reminding me of things or watching over my work. I do my job very systematically and diligently, when there is a fuck-up it's hardly ever my mistake. My team lead has said to me before that she appreciates that I do my job diligently and try hard to understand the processes in order to automate them, so it's not like I am a problemat worker who needs help. Howeve I have this one coworker, she is in the company one year more than me and does a different part of payroll to me. I don't know…

I don't know what came over her, but for the last 4 months she's been very obnoxiously trying to micromanage my work. Reminding me of dates to do my part of the payroll, telling me how to do things that I already do, and usually she is saying it wrong. Like I have to correct her on the policies, on the processes on the laws… She does this also infront of other coworkers. She is also not particularly skilled in the field, she doesn't seem to show interest outside of her own scope of the job. Usually just forwards emails and questions rather than trying to find the answer herself, so I find it hard to be calm when she tried to tell me how to do things when I know she's usually just talking out of her ass.

This is a rant, but also also I want to ask for advice on how to deal with her. I was thinking of discussing it with our team lead since it's been going on for so long and it annoys the fuck out of me. I have been trying to push back each time she's trying to walk over me, telling her yes I know or yes I've got this, explaining to her why what she is suggesting is not how things are actually done. It's been happening more and kore frequently and she is not taking the hint. I am not sure if I should talk to her more directly or to just discuss it with the actual management..
