Hope its okay to post this, just need reassurance..
Basically, manager got fired and they were vague on the why. Imo they rocked the boat so they got rid of him.
We were told in a meeting that they were contacting employees and that if we talked to them we would be terminated.
They ended up reaching out to me and offering to be a reference because I'm a good employee and management has been shitting on me. It's at will state so I know they can, but if this played out would I be entitled to unemployment? Don't care about losing this job tbh, thinking this person might be a good connection.
