I'm a manager and haven't missed one day in a year a half. I work hard and cover at other locations and when we're short staffed I jump in.
I hurt myself and went to hospital I told my boss 16 hours before my shift started I can't come in tomorrow.
He said I need to find coverage. Luckily I did but like wtf. Other locations call him and I've gone and helped but I guess I have to deal with texting everyone when I'm in the hospital.
I sent him a pic of my Drs note and he said
“Oh I had that before. It hurt real bad for 25 minutes”
I've been dealing with this pain for almost 2 weeks and it keeps getting worse so I finally gave in and went to the Doctor.
I used to like my boss but now I lost all respect for him.
