I love working for my current job as I work for the government and I really enjoy the positive impact that I can bring to the community and all that jazz, however I never realized how easy it is to take so much time off. I have been here for 7 months and in this time, my boss has taken 2 2 week vacations and now is taking vacation days for Fourth of July weekend. She's a hard worker and stays late all the time and helps me out and is overall is a great boss, but my question to you is do you think excessively taken days off is a bad thing for a boss? As a new employee I'm hesitant to do so because I'm new and want to be known as reliable, but perhaps this is a good thing, right? Like the work environment supports taking our PTO?
