Meet the new boss, same as the old boss

I've worked at my job for decades and am at the end of my “career” counting the years until my retirement. I was looking forward to a new supervisor after dealing with my previous boss. That's a whole other story. I'm in a union, so I'm fairly well protected. I've explained to both bosses that I have to work within my job description and government rules. There's wiggle room to some extent, but I can only go so far in my role. Had my first formal meeting with the new boss. She wants to change my work hours and have me take on more responsibily without a raise or change of my job description. I explained that it doesn't happen that way. She pushed. I pushed back. I'd like to complete my years without a battle but the work war continues. I've calculated my retirement
