Lately I’ve been calling in sick to work just to take some personal “me” time to improve my mental health. We’ve all been there. I think sick days should include mental health days but I digress.
Mind you we don’t have PTO anyway so who cares if I call in sick? I’m not defrauding the company. Well I called in sick yesterday and my boss told me another sick day this month without a doctors note and I’m fired.
Thing is, I was planning on calling in sick on Tuesday to watch a special event that only happens once a year. Now I’m unsure what to do.
My boss sucks. He just sees me as a wage slave. Working has removed the human aspect of humanity and I’m sick of it. Just looking for some support here.
