Thinking about turning in my two weeks

I have been working at my current in home daycare job as an assistant since September 2016, I love my job. I am one credit away from getting my teachers permit; but since covid ended and we opened back up money had been tight because everything is so expensive. I haven't been given any raises. I have been working at my current in home daycare job as an assistant since September 2016, I love my job. I am one credit away from getting my teachers permit; but since covid ended and we opened back up money had been tight because everything is so expensive. I haven't been given any raises. If we don't have enough kids I get sent home after working only 2.5 hrs and on a full day I only work 4 hrs doing daycare related stuff. I don't get paid for the time the kids nap/quiet time 11:30-2:30 and I can't leave site. I can get an extra hr a day on my check of I do my bosses house work/ yard work. During the school year when we do curriculum I am regularly left alone to do all learning activities and craft for at least 7-14 kids, and cleaning after while boss goes and does whatever she decides to do that day. So if we have enough kids I work 4 hrs total a day unless I do extra work for an hr. I can barely make bills. What do you guys think, should I leave and find a better job in my field? I'm in Cali if that matters.
